She taught her first year of orchestra in Maus Middle School in Frisco ISD as an assistant orchestra director, and 2019-2021 in Dallas ISD as a head director overseeing four elementary strings programs.
Mrs. Ufford loves exploring music with others. Knowledge and growth are important to her, and she enjoys learning alongside her students and empowering to learn themselves. She is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) and Texas Orchestra Directors Association (TODA). She also performs the cello with New Texas Symphony Orchestra, a resident orchestra in the North Texas area. During her free time, Mrs. Ufford enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful Texas nature with her husband, Brian.
